Curtis is a bird with a city on his back.  Goya is a mousy young woman who lives in that city.  Curtis and Goya are friends.  When Goya suggests that Curtis would be better off without the burden of their city, she unwittingly puts into motion a series of events which takes her far from home, and deep into the heart of why we do the banal things we do.
